Magdalena Healey
I have a BSc/MSc in psychology and a strong interest in cognitive science and linguistics.
My professional background is in market research and opinion polling. I have 10 years experience working as a project and team manager in that industry, and I have a keen interest in current social, cultural and political issues.
But the greatest (and the only consistent one) passion in my life has been books: I have been reading for over thirty years and I have no intentions of stopping any time soon.
That's why in my first alternative life I am probably a popular science writer and in my second alternative life I am probably a novelist.
I have written extensively on a UK consumer review site DooYoo, a bit differently on Helium as well as having the honour to be a reviewer for the excellent BookBag, for which I have so far reviewed over 200 books.
Apart from entertaining the children and avoiding the housework, I am now enjoying life in the Scottish countryside and working as a freelance Internet writer and researcher.
